The outdoor experience!

Two small guestrooms in the island of Serifos, requested to be connected with the spacious outdoor environment. The end goal was to make a home outside the small rooms, including living space, kitchen and dining area. Pergolas were constructed to protect the outdoor homes from the elements, and wee started thee construction for the summer experience at this majestic cycladic island! Original stones from the island were used, wood and concrete were introduced and Diy methods, like smashing old tiles to make a mosaic for the backdrop of thee kitchen, or forming the plasterwork in wave shapes. We also went around the island to gather original stones from the old mineworks and include them in the design. The coffee table was made of an old steel  wheel while most of the furniture were found in a thrift shop.
