Persefonis loft
In February 2024, we were called to reimagine the duplex penthouse in the contemporary apartment building we originally designed and constructed in 2005, in the vibrant neighbourhood of Gazi in Athens.
The open plan layout of the main living space downstairs allows natural light to flood the interior, while establishing a direct connection with the surrounding cityscape through large verandas and windows. Panoramic views of Athens, including the Parthenon and the old gasworks, blend with the interior that showcases natural materials, eclectic art on crisp white walls and a black box hiding the WC.
Hand painted cement tiles, reminiscent of traditional Greek patios, are combined with oak wood and the whole space incorporates a mix of new and vintage furniture.
Bold yellow ceilings are balanced with patterned wallpaper and custom craftsmanship in the bedroom upstairs.
The project in total reflects our dedication to traditional elegance and modern sophistication, evident in every aspect of the design.
