This Athens apartment renovation explores how colour, custom joinery and carefully selected materials can transform a compact home without overwhelming it. The kitchen combines soft white cabinetry with deep burgundy volumes, salmon pink tiles and the original marble sink, balancing contemporary detailing with warmer, familiar elements. Integrated storage extends into the bedroom, where a terracotta ceiling and headboard niche create an intimate atmosphere. Throughout the apartment, oak shelving, vintage furniture, artwork and the owners’ collection of books and records bring character and personality. The result is a bright, practical home where restrained interventions and unexpected colour coexist naturally.
