Filopappou area  is a small neighborhood of Athens south of the Philopappos monument from which it takes its name. Originally the houses of the area were 2-3 story buildings on small plots. The brief for this single-house was to come as close as possible to the original domestic style of the area. Details were introduced on the front elevation such as pediments around the windows and extended cornices. A stone wall signifies the entrance of the house which leads on the first main floor of the house.

A beautiful garden was designed at the half of the plot, providing shade and privacy to the residents.
