Ag. Paraskevi
The renovation of this 1970s residence in Agia Paraskevi sought to reinterpret rather than erase its original identity. The sculptural spiral staircase, built-in cabinetry, ceramic surfaces and spatial organisation became the starting point for the intervention.
Much of the existing architecture was preserved, while colour introduced a contemporary layer. Petrol-blue cabinetry creates a calm backdrop, contrasted by the vibrant orange staircase. In the kitchen, petrol cabinetry, glossy orange tiles and a red sink form a bold composition. Original bathroom tiles were retained and paired with contemporary materials and fittings.
Throughout the house, colour acts as an architectural device, connecting past and present.
